Encryption Strength
Activate Security uses AES-256 encryption:
- Military and government standard
- Would take billions of years to crack
- Same encryption used by banks
- Zero-knowledge architecture (only you have the key)
Performance: Encryption/decryption is nearly instant for most files. Very large files (1GB+) may take a few seconds.
Working with Encrypted Files
- Open vault with password
- Edit files normally
- Changes are auto-saved encrypted
- Close vault when finished
