Understanding Results
Email Found
Your email appears in breach data. This could mean:
- Account credentials were stolen
- Email was part of a data leak
- Your account may have been compromised
Password Found
Specific password was exposed:
- High Risk: Change immediately
- Affects all accounts using that password
- Attackers may already have access
Breach Details
Each result shows:
- Breach Name: What service was breached
- Breach Date: When it occurred
- Data Exposed: What information was leaked
- Severity: Risk level assessment
Immediate Actions
If Your Email is Found:
- Change password on affected accounts
- Enable two-factor authentication
- Monitor for suspicious activity
- Use unique passwords for each account
If Password is Found:
- Change it immediately everywhere it's used
- Never reuse this password again
- Enable 2FA on all accounts
- Check for unauthorized access
If Personal Data is Found:
- Monitor credit reports
- Enable fraud alerts
