Activating Your Account

After purchasing Activate Security, follow these steps to activate your subscription and start protecting your devices.

Automatic Activation (Most Users)

If you purchased through our website, your account is automatically activated:

1. Check your email for the welcome message
2. Click "Download Now" in the email
3. Install Activate Security on your device
4. Log in with your email and password
5. Your subscription will be active immediately

Manual Activation (If Needed)

If your account wasn't automatically activated:

1. Visit activatesecurity.com/account
2. Log in with your credentials
3. Check your subscription status
4. If inactive, click "Activate Subscription"
5. Enter your activation key (from purchase email)
6. Click "Activate"

Finding Your Activation Key

Your activation key is in your purchase confirmation email:

• Subject line: "Welcome to Activate Security"
• Sent from: [email protected]
• Contains: 25-character activation code
• Format: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

Activating Multiple Devices

Your subscription covers all your devices:

1. Install Activate Security on each device
2. Log in with the same account on each device
3. No additional activation needed
4. Manage devices from your account dashboard

Checking Activation Status

1. Open Activate Security application
2. Go to Settings → Account
3. View subscription status and expiration date
4. See number of devices protected

Troubleshooting Activation Issues

Invalid Activation Key

• Double-check for typos (O vs 0, I vs 1)
• Copy-paste from email instead of typing
• Ensure key hasn't been used on maximum devices

Account Already Activated

If you see this message, your account is already active. Simply log in and start using Activate Security.

Payment Processing

Activation may be delayed if payment is still processing. Wait 5-10 minutes and try again.
