Your master password encrypts all vault data. Make it strong and memorable.
Creating a Strong Master Password
Length is Key
- Minimum 12 characters
- 16+ characters recommended
- 20+ characters for maximum security
Use a Passphrase
String together random words:
- Example: "Coffee-Mountain-Purple-Telescope-89"
- Easy to remember, hard to crack
- Add numbers and symbols between words
Include All Character Types
- Uppercase letters (A-Z)
- Lowercase letters (a-z)
- Numbers (0-9)
- Special characters (!@#$%)
What to Avoid
- ❌ Personal information (names, birthdays)
- ❌ Dictionary words
- ❌ Common passwords (Password123!)
- ❌ Keyboard patterns (qwerty123)
