Types of Scans

Quick Scan (Recommended Weekly)

• Scans common malware locations
• Takes 5-10 minutes
• Checks running processes
• Reviews recent downloads

Full Scan (Recommended Monthly)

• Scans entire computer
• Takes 30-60 minutes
• Thorough malware detection
• Checks all files and folders

Custom Scan

• Scan specific folders/files
• Useful for new downloads
• Quick targeted scanning

Running a Scan

1. Open Activate Security
2. Click "Antivirus" or "Security Scan"
3. Choose scan type
4. Click "Start Scan"
5. Wait for completion
6. Review and remove threats

Real-Time Protection

Activate Security continuously monitors for threats:

Quarantine

Detected threats are quarantined:

• Isolated from your system
• Cannot execute or spread
• Can be restored if false positive
• Automatically deleted after 30 days
